The Squad Leader is distinguished from the standard trooper by an orange right-shoulder pauldron decorated with the troop badge. A white utility belt with rear thermal detonator, black fabric undersuit and matching white boots complete the animated Imperial appearance.

Animated Star Wars Rebels Styling

Rather than recreating a live-action Stormtrooper, HS09 adopts the distinctive shapes and proportions used in the Star Wars Rebels animated series.

The narrower armour profile, elongated helmet design and stylised body proportions give the figure a noticeably different presence from traditional live-action sixth-scale Stormtroopers.

This animated interpretation makes the figure particularly suitable for display alongside other HONŌ STUDIO releases inspired by Star Wars Rebels.

Squad Leader Armour

The orange pauldron fitted over the figure’s right shoulder identifies this trooper as a Squad Leader and provides a strong visual contrast against the white Imperial armour.

Armour sections are constructed using flexible materials intended to provide greater freedom when positioning the articulated body. Poses should still be adjusted gradually to avoid placing unnecessary strain on the armour or black fabric undersuit.

The white utility belt includes the familiar thermal detonator positioned at the back, completing the recognisable Stormtrooper equipment arrangement.

Heavy Blaster Rifle

The included heavy blaster rifle provides the Squad Leader with a more substantial Imperial weapon and can be combined with the dedicated weapon-holding hands for armed patrol and combat poses.

Insert the weapon carefully and avoid forcing it into the hands. Supporting both the hand and blaster while positioning the fingers can help reduce pressure on the smaller components.

Themed Display Stand and Backdrop

The themed figure stand includes an animation-style illustrated card that provides a colourful backdrop for the Stormtrooper Squad Leader.

The backdrop card follows a comic-cover-inspired format and may be replaced with a similarly sized compatible card or comic for a personalised display. Any alternative comic or artwork is not included.

Position the completed stand on a firm, level surface and use the supplied support correctly to help stabilise the figure.
