Overview

Recreate Batman’s heavily damaged appearance following his confrontation with Superman using this genuine Hot Toys Armored Batman 2.0 battle-damaged chest armour.

Originally supplied with the Deluxe Version of the Hot Toys MMS743D63 collectible figure from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, this interchangeable front armour component replaces the standard chest armour when displaying the figure in its battle-damaged configuration.

The armour features a deeply distressed metallic appearance with sculpted impact damage, scratches, worn edges and extensive weathering designed to represent the punishment sustained during Batman’s battle with Superman.

This is an original Hot Toys component rather than a reproduction. It is best suited as a replacement for the original MMS743D63 Deluxe chest armour but may also be useful for compatible sixth-scale custom and kitbash projects.

Battle-Damaged Configuration

The MMS743D63 Deluxe Version includes a selection of interchangeable components that allow collectors to change the figure from its standard armoured appearance to a heavily battle-damaged configuration.

This chest component is designed to coordinate with the alternative battle-damaged shoulder armour, left forearm armour, wired cape and battle-damaged head sculpt.

The surrounding battle-damaged armour, cape and head components are separate parts and are not included with this listing.

Weathered Finish

Scratches, worn edges, impact marks, uneven colouring and distressed paintwork are intentional features of this component. They form part of the factory-applied battle-damaged appearance and should not be mistaken for damage caused after manufacture.

The precise placement and intensity of the weathering may differ slightly between individual examples because Hot Toys components are painted and finished individually.

Material Clarification

Although the MMS743D63 figure incorporates selected diecast armour components, Hot Toys does not identify this separate battle-damaged chest armour as a diecast part.

Its metallic colouring and weathered surface finish should not be taken to mean that the component is manufactured from metal. The standard chest-armour configuration containing diecast material is a separate component.

Compatibility

This chest armour was specifically designed for the proportions and attachment arrangement of the Hot Toys MMS743D63 Armored Batman 2.0 figure. It is best suited as a direct replacement for the original Deluxe Version component.

Compatibility with earlier Armored Batman releases, other Hot Toys bodies and third-party figures cannot be guaranteed. Torso dimensions, underlying suits and connection arrangements may differ between releases.

Additional modification may be required for custom use. Do not bend, stretch or force the armour around an incompatible torso, as this may damage the component, its painted finish or its connection points.

Quality Assurance

These are genuine Hot Toys components removed from brand-new, factory-sealed MMS743D63 collectible figures. They have not been displayed or previously fitted to used figures.

After removal, each chest-armour component is individually protected and securely stored. The visible finish and connection areas are inspected before dispatch.

Hot Toys products are individually assembled, painted and finished. Minor differences in paint application, weathering, surface texture or assembly may occur between examples. These normal production variations are not considered defects.

Care and Handling

• Handle the armour with clean, dry hands
• Keep hands free from oils, creams and moisture before touching the painted finish
• Support the component carefully when fitting or removing it
• Do not bend, twist, squeeze or stretch the armour
• Do not force the part around an incompatible torso or Batsuit
• Avoid scraping the weathered finish against neighbouring armour components
• Do not use metal tools around the painted surface or connection points
• Store separately to help prevent rubbing and paint transfer
• Keep away from water, prolonged direct sunlight, excessive heat and high humidity
• Do not apply alcohol, solvents or household cleaning products
