Overview

Recreate Batman’s heavily worn combat appearance with this genuine Hot Toys Armored Batman 2.0 interchangeable battle-damaged shoulder armour set.

Originally supplied with the Deluxe Version of the Hot Toys MMS743D63 collectible figure from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, these alternative armour components are used when converting the figure from its standard appearance to the Deluxe battle-damaged configuration.

The sculpted armour features a distressed metallic appearance with scratches, worn surfaces and extensive weathering designed to recreate the damage sustained during Batman’s confrontation with Superman.

These are original Hot Toys components rather than reproduction parts. They are best suited as replacements for the original MMS743D63 shoulder armour but may also be useful for compatible sixth-scale custom and kitbash projects.

Battle-Damaged Configuration

The Deluxe Version of the MMS743D63 figure includes interchangeable armour components that allow collectors to change Armored Batman from his standard appearance to the heavily damaged configuration seen after his battle with Superman.

This shoulder armour set is intended to be used with the corresponding battle-damaged chest armour, wired cape, left forearm armour and battle-damaged head sculpt.

Those surrounding battle-damaged components are sold separately and are not included with this listing.

Weathered Finish

The scratches, worn edges, distressed paintwork and uneven metallic appearance are intentional parts of the battle-damaged design. They recreate the armour’s heavily used appearance and should not be mistaken for damage caused after manufacture.

Weathering may differ slightly between individual sets because Hot Toys components are finished and assembled individually.

Compatibility

These shoulder armour components were specifically designed for the proportions and attachment arrangement of the Hot Toys MMS743D63 Armored Batman 2.0 figure. They are best suited as direct replacements for the original Deluxe Version armour.

Compatibility with earlier Armored Batman releases, other Hot Toys bodies and third-party figures cannot be guaranteed. Shoulder width, armour dimensions and connection arrangements may differ between figures and releases.

Additional modification may be required for custom use. Do not bend, stretch or force the armour onto an incompatible body or arm assembly, as this may damage the parts, painted finish or connection points.

Quality Assurance

These are genuine Hot Toys components removed from brand-new, factory-sealed MMS743D63 collectible figures. They have not been displayed or previously fitted to used figures.

After removal, each shoulder armour set is individually bagged and securely stored. The visible finish and connection areas are inspected before dispatch.

Hot Toys products are individually assembled, painted and finished. Minor differences in paint application, weathering, surface texture or assembly may occur between examples. These normal production variations are not considered defects.

Care and Handling

• Handle the armour components with clean, dry hands
• Keep hands free from oils, creams and moisture before touching the painted surfaces
• Support each component carefully when fitting or removing it
• Do not bend, twist, squeeze or stretch the armour
• Do not force the parts onto an incompatible shoulder or arm assembly
• Avoid scraping the weathered surfaces against neighbouring armour components
• Do not use metal tools around the painted finish or connection points
• Store the components separately to help prevent rubbing or paint transfer
• Keep away from water, prolonged direct sunlight, excessive heat and high humidity
• Do not apply alcohol, solvents or household cleaning products
