Create a more dramatic Armored Batman display with this genuine Hot Toys Armored Batman 2.0 battle-damaged wired cape.

Originally supplied with the Deluxe Version of the Hot Toys MMS743D63 collectible figure from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, this alternative cape is designed to accompany the figure’s interchangeable battle-damaged armour.

Integrated posing wire allows the cape to be shaped for flowing, swept-back and more dynamic display arrangements. Its distressed fabric appearance complements the heavily weathered armour worn by Batman following his confrontation with Superman.

These are original Hot Toys costume components. They are best suited as replacements for the original MMS743D63 cape assembly and also for compatible sixth-scale custom figures.

Product Specifications

Wired Cape Design

The integrated wire allows the cape to be arranged into more expressive shapes than the standard non-wired version. It can be positioned closer to the body or carefully extended to create flowing and wind-swept effects.

Shape the cape gradually using both hands and work along the wired sections rather than bending one area sharply. Small adjustments generally produce a more natural appearance and place less strain on the internal wire.

The wire is intended to assist with posing the fabric, not to support the weight of the figure. Repeated sharp bending in the same position may weaken or permanently kink the wire.

Battle-Damaged Configuration

This cape forms part of the MMS743D63 Deluxe battle-damaged armour arrangement. It is intended to coordinate with the alternative chest armour, shoulder armour, left forearm armour and battle-damaged head sculpt.

The cape’s distressed appearance and poseable construction help create the more dramatic silhouette associated with the battle-damaged configuration.

All corresponding armour and figure components are sold separately and are not included with this listing.

Standard and Battle-Damaged Capes

This is the alternative battle-damaged wired cape supplied with the Deluxe Version. It should not be confused with the separate standard cape and chest-strap set.

The standard cape has a non-wired construction designed for a natural fabric drape, while this Deluxe battle-damaged cape contains posing wire for adjustable display arrangements.

Compatibility

This cape was specifically designed for the proportions and armour arrangement of the Hot Toys MMS743D63 Armored Batman 2.0 figure. It is best suited as a direct replacement for the original Deluxe Version cape.

Compatibility with earlier Armored Batman releases, other Hot Toys bodies and third-party figures cannot be guaranteed. Shoulder width, torso dimensions, armour shape and attachment arrangements may differ between releases.

Additional modification may be required for custom use. Do not pull or force the cape around an incompatible body or armour assembly.

Quality Assurance

These are genuine Hot Toys components removed from brand-new, factory-sealed MMS743D63 collectible figures. They have not been displayed or previously fitted to used figures.

After removal, each cape is loosely arranged, individually protected and securely stored. The fabric, visible edges, internal wiring and connection areas are inspected before dispatch.

Minor differences in fabric edges, stitching, distressed finish, drape and wire positioning may occur between examples. These are normal characteristics of individually manufactured miniature clothing.

Care and Handling

• Handle the cape with clean, dry hands
• Keep hands free from oils, creams and moisture before touching the fabric
• Shape the cape gradually using both hands
• Work along the wired sections rather than creating sharp bends
• Avoid repeatedly bending the wire in exactly the same position
• Do not pull, stretch or lift the figure using the cape
• Avoid snagging the fabric against sharp armour edges
• Do not insert additional wire, pins or sharp objects into the cape
• Store the cape loosely arranged rather than tightly folded
• Keep away from water, prolonged direct sunlight, excessive heat and high humidity
• Do not apply alcohol, solvents, fabric treatments or household cleaning products
