Overview

Bring one of the most influential interpretations of the Dark Knight into your collection with the Hot Toys CMS024 Batman 1/6 Scale Collectible Figure. Inspired by Batman’s imposing appearance in DC Comics’ Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, this premium figure recreates the older Bruce Wayne’s powerful comic-book physique and uncompromising return to Gotham City.

After years in retirement, an older Bruce Wayne once again becomes Batman as Gotham descends into violent crime and corruption. His return presents a broader, more physically imposing Dark Knight, represented here through a newly developed muscular body with more than 30 points of articulation.

The masked Batman head includes three interchangeable lower-face pieces capturing different classic expressions. A finely tailored Batsuit with an oversized Bat emblem, wired black cape, weathered utility belt, forearm gauntlets and boots completes the comic-inspired appearance.

Four standard Batarangs, a rope-attached Batarang, rifle and six interchangeable gloved hands provide a focused selection of display options. The included character stand supports Batman’s substantial sixth scale body during long-term display.

The Dark Knight Returns Design

This figure is based on Batman’s appearance in the influential comic-book story rather than a live-action film or television adaptation. The exaggerated muscular proportions, broad chest, heavy jawline and oversized Bat emblem reproduce the distinctive visual identity of the older Dark Knight.

Three Interchangeable Expressions

The masked Batman head accepts three interchangeable lower-face pieces, allowing the figure’s expression to be changed without replacing the complete cowl. Each piece is individually painted and designed to capture Batman’s stern and confrontational comic-book appearance.

Muscular Articulated Body

A newly developed body gives Batman the thick, heavily muscled proportions associated with his appearance in The Dark Knight Returns. More than 30 points of articulation support a range of standing and action-orientated poses while retaining the character’s imposing silhouette.

Tailored Batsuit and Wired Cape

The finely tailored grey Batsuit carries the large black emblem associated with this version of Batman. A weathered utility belt, black gauntlets and boots complete the costume, while internal wires allow the cape to be carefully shaped around the figure.

Adjust the cape gradually and avoid repeated sharp bends, twisting or folding at the same point. The Batsuit may restrict articulation compared with an uncovered body, so the figure should not be forced into poses beyond the costume’s natural range.

Batarangs and Rifle

Four standard Batarangs and a fifth Batarang with an attached rope provide multiple display options. A dedicated Batarang hand and a separate rifle-holding hand help position the included weapons securely.
